About two years ago I was depressed, suicidal, suffered from anxiety, and overall just hated life. The lyric "pray to go let me die in my sleep" hits me so hard, I went through that exact emotion. I didn't want to take my own life, I just wanted to fall asleep and never wake up. My friends and family did not know about my depression, they found out when I had a failed suicide attempt. Honestly, I'm grateful that I didn't die that night. Currently, I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. Mentally I am stable and happy. I no longer wish to die in my sleep. Thank you, Jaden. Thank you for making music that people can relate to, showing us that we are not alone. That others struggle with their mental health, and things will get better. *EDIT* I honestly did not expect to receive so much feedback and such kind words. i wanna die. i can’t bare this pain. and i don’t even know what’s causing this pain from a 12 year old ya update. i’m 13 now it’s 12.16.20 i wrote that 3 months ago in october and it’s december now. in 3 months crazy stuff happened. i’m still suicidal. but not as heavily as i was back in summer time and when i wrote this. a couple weeks after i wrote this i got sent to a hospital to be evaluated. i guess i wasn’t depressed. my parents never cleared it up with me. the only thing really keeping me alive is my best friend. my girlfriend. and lil peep. his music got my through a bunch of stuff and still is to this day. same with juice wrlds music. for anyone wondering i am girl. things haven’t gotten better. their just normal ig. i’m not in pain. i’m numb. broken. used. i have a therapist and i talk to her every monday which is good. i get to say what i need to say you know. anyone in these comments. i know it’s hard. i know you wanna give up. find that source of happiness and stick with it. mine is sneakers. i have a passion for sneakers. i even have a youtube channel haha of sneakers. it used to make me even more happy but not as much now. but that’s okay. i’m still doing it. and i just got a shoe in yesterday. i hope all of you are still here with us because we need you. he needs you. she needs you. they need you. we need you. we need you here. i can’t say it gets better because i think we just adjust and get used to it. find ways to cope to make it a little less worse. i’ll do another update soon. i love you all. and this song still smacks lmao
